I was born in London and moved to Cambridgeshire next to the River Ouse.

 

This was quite a leap from the hard landscapes of the city into the countryside and it has played a huge part in my love of nature.

 

Now living in rural Suffolk, my paintings are invocative of the environment I am surrounded by. There is a constant source of inspiration, colour, mood and light, with the ever-changing landscapes and seasons.

 

Walking my dogs daily I photograph what I see capturing my inspiration and the calming influence I gain from walking in the countryside feeding my need to create.

 

I hope my paintings convey this emotion and you are transported by the beauty of nature.
